Nature

It was in the evening
When I could hear the birds sing
The flapping of each bird’s wing
The soft wind so chilling

Not the aroma of the hour
We people have come so far
I am talking of the things we choose
The materialistic instinct in us that makes us loose

We don’t have space
Yet we have cars to race
We don’t have options in any case
Yet we are proud of being in a maze

I don’t want much but peace
So much I love to feel the breeze
Give me the nature as it is
Not a second of it I want to miss

Save nature is what I conclude thus
If all belongs to every one of us
Make most of what we have today
Today we play with nature and tomorrow nature would play
