In the dark

I sit away
Not once I feel alone
Nothing I say
This world appears unknown

Every thing is quiet
Cool wind blows
In the middle of the night
A single star glows

I look up at the sky
What did I lose?
Were my feelings a lie?
What should I choose?

Deep inside I know
That I am on the safer side
If this life has proved to be lethal snow
Then I will prove myself a land slide
